Looks like the Cardinals top three priorities for the offseason will be:
File this under shameless self-promotion. TOONrefugee just completed the logo for a new site devoted to baseball trade rumors (I’ll also be contributing an occasional cartoon and a bit of pithy commentary there as well). With the hot stove league heating up, the site should be a lot of fun for baseball fans. So, please check out the latest MLB trade rumors at the Rumor Mill.
Even though Joe managed to pull the Yankees back into the battle and get them into the play-offs, it wasn’t enough, he’s gone. And this cartoon, originally published back in June has proved prescient. After 12 straight playoff appearances and four World Championships, the Torre era in NYC is over.
