  1. When it comes to theological issues, not everyone will agree. However, Christians, or more precisely, evangelicals, do agree on key doctrines. Practices differ, various views on certain teachings exist, but some make these into major issues and stir dissention among the brethren, which Scripture forbids. Christians are right to point out and quickly respond to and repudiate heresy, just as the Early Church did, the Reformers did (Catholics will disagree regarding the reformers). But one of the biggest problems with the church (worldwide body of genuine believers in Christ) is ecumenical civil war. We must come together for the larger cause of evangelism. This doesn’t mean always agreeing, but it means working together as one body, just as Paul taught in his letter to the Ephesian church.
