The Second Cartoon of Christmas 2007: Global Warming Santa

Global Warming Santa

Forget the polar bears, can Al Gore save Santa?

Note: This is the second in my 12 Cartoons of Christmas: 2007 the Sequel series. I had doubts about being able to pull it off again this year but yesterday’s Santa Approved Guns ad inspired me to get started. I can still use a couple ideas if I’m going to make it to twelve before December 25, so I invite you to comment and submit your own ideas.

  1. the effect of Global Warming these days is even worst. i think every government should pass stricter laws on Carbon Emissions. we should also concentrate more on renewable energy sources and avoid fossil fuels.

  2. + We should be more concerned about Global Warming and Climate Change because Typhoons are getting much stronger and there are greater incidence of Flooding. take for example the recent Typhoon Ketsana which devastated some countries in South East Asia.

  3. I think “Global Warming” is a big bunch of shizz! The world has been warming up since 10000 B.C.E.! Why make such a big deal about it now? All it is is Climate Change! And even if you do believe in “Global Warming,” it’s all in your religon. It’s what you believe. “Global Warming” isn’t a fact proved by scientist. Scientist could even be wrong! For all we know, the scienctist that are saying stuff about “Global Warming,” could be making stuff up just to make a crisis! Just to make some extra money! Until it’s a proved fact, I will not believe in “Global Warming.”

  4. And I don’t believe Megan exists. I’ve never seen her and don’t know anyone who has. For all I know scientists are just making her up because they’re jealous of my cartooning skills.

  5. Excellent cartoon! Love it!

Not accepting that Global Warming is a serious problem comes down to lack of education ? evident in Megan?s statement that scientists around the world have come together ‘to make a buck’.

Has anyone made a study to see if there is a coordination between religion and denying global warming? Correlation or not, lack of education is rampant and a large percent of people believe that Adam and Eve existed, but don?t believe human caused global warming is happening. The dumbing down spiral of humankind continues, pretty soon we may hear that Santa Claus exists and that we must find him a new home when the ice has melted.

Excellent job! More Global Warming cartoons! Keep them coming! Hit them in the face!
