Spare change?
In fairness to Senator Obama I should point out that the $1 billion dollars is the amount he REQUESTED in earmarks for Illinois projects. AND that the actual total is closer to $800 million. And that he didn’t get all of it. Although, as a life-long Illinois resident, I can’t for the life of me figure out how those last two points are supposed to be good things.
