SEO (Search Engine Optimization) poster child Rand Fishkin has planted his yellow shoes solidly in the sh*t by outing websites that violate one of Google’s more controversial guidelines (here’s SEOrefugee’s take). It’s got the SEO community wondering just what those RF initials really stand for.

5i went to high school with rand. newport high, in bellevue WA to be exact. i remember he was one of the least popular kids in school, possibly due in part to the fact that he used to inexplicably wear patches of aluminum foil on his clothing.
now i wonder if maybe he was on to something…
